Taking CBD for Fitness

Have you ever joined the November fundraising community? We talk about taking CBD for fitness.  Men, women, children and everyone in between can take part in Movember. It’s all about men’s health and raising awareness and money of course to find new ways of treating issues that affect men.

I remember some years ago, pre-pandemic when I ran at Cardiff Bute Park - twice to cover the 10K course. It was pouring down with rain, squelching feet in the mud and the amount of times I slipped! Cold and wet with muddy feet getting into the car was not fun. The following day I ended up with a dreadful cold. My immune system was down and I wish I had taken heed from a friend in trying out alternative medicine to support my body prior to my first 10k run.

At the end of the day, it was to raise funds.  Not for anyone in particular but for everyone. Today, the idea of continuing to build awareness of such an important issue - men’s health is more important than ever. Whether it’s for mental health or for a particular cancer that is affecting a friend, family or just because you want to help. I encourage you and your loved ones to tie up your laces,  grow the beard or / and moustache or host an event.

Since working at The Hemp Hacienda, I have learned so much about the benefits of natural healing. Conventional medicine may help, but for me it is about being holistic in my health and wellbeing. Trying CBD and Hemp to alleviate stress to my body and help it function as it should without the need for over the counter chemicals is what has helped me to date.

CBD for Prostate Cancer

Prostate Cancer UK answered some questions that over flowed from the documentary by Bill Turnbull called Staying Alive.

Studies have been undertaken to find out whether CBD can shrink or eliminate cancer and from the documentary above, the response was, “There’s some evidence that cannabis-based medicines can help with long-term pain, including pain caused by cancer. Currently doctors in the UK can only prescribe cannabis-based medicines to treat nausea or vomiting caused by chemotherapy – when other medicines haven’t worked.”

There is much debate going on about whether CBD can help with cancers, Medical News Today have said that although it’s too early to make claims about CBD as a cancer treatment, the results of small studies on cancer cells is promising and this compound (CBD) may help manage some cancer symptoms and side effects of treatment.

At The Hemp Hacienda, we have a range of customers who use CBD for anxiety, which has been known  to help treat patients with long term ailments and chronic pain. It has also been known to ease nausea, which can aid those who have the after effects of radiation and chemotherapy.

Our products contain 0% THC, which means that there is no ‘high’, they are legal and certified. Prior to taking CBD and hemp products please consult your healthcare provider. At the Hemp Hacienda we like to keep our visitors informed and help them be part of a natural health alternative community to over the counter medication.
